Under my page "SALES TERMS" there is an area where you can click to be taken to another page explaining why we no longer allow potential puppy buyers to visit our home for security reasons. I have now added this page in addition to the other, because it seems some potential buyers overlooked reading the other section.

At the time of writing this, I have read an article in "That's Life" magazine issue 2 2011 about a Chihuahua dog breeder in NSW being held at gunpoint by a potential puppy buyer, demanding she hand over the puppy. At the time, the breeder wasn't even home alone, she had her family just in the other room. To check out the full story go to http://www.thatslife.com.au and look up this issue.

Now, taking this incident into consideration, plus what I have already written as means of explanation, (click on sales terms on your right hand menu, then click where it states) to read about my other reasons, as from today, I will ask that full payment of the puppy or dog be made prior to pick up. Under no circumstances, without exception, will I allow any potential buyer to come to my home to collect puppy. If you still can't understand my reasoning as to why I have had to take these actions, then please take your business elsewhere.

My dogs mean too much to me to risk them being stolen, my sanity means too much to me to risk it being taken, and I value our lives way too much to take any chances.

You may be the nicest person in the world! A saint! But I don't know you, despite email conversations leading up to the sale! You will either meet with my terms, or you will not be buying a Cupidtown puppy.

All money will be paid before the puppy is collected from an allocated area I will choose, which will be very public, and I will not be coming alone. Those are my terms, please don't ask me to change them.

My contracts protect my puppies, as far as humanely possible, my precautions protect me and mine.

In closing, if my website isn't enough to make you know whom you are dealing with, then I suggest, this is not the place for you to buy your new puppy.
